This wonderful Antique Edwardian Suffragette bracelet has been commissioned in 9ct Yellow Gold and has developed a beautiful rosy hue with age. It features a gate link design and is set with two 0.20ct Peridots, one 0.20ct Amethyst and two magnificent Pearls. The bracelet also features a fantastic heart-shaped padlock style clasp, which is to signify love forever.
Suffragette jewellery was worn to show one’s allegiance to the women’s Suffragette movement in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Purple, Green and White stones which symbolised: Purple for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope.
A fabulous bracelet which comes with a safety chain to keep it secure and also comes with Birmingham hallmarks which date the bracelet to 1908.
