Lovely late 1920s to early 1930s silk kimono robe. Ro woven silk with a very traditional Japanese pattern in warm tones. Super long sleeves. Not lined. It comes with an obi sash that I have made from vintage rayon kimono remnants. In very good condition for its age, there is one small hole in a the sleeve at shoulder seam, and there are some areas of faint discoloration throughout. See the last photo.
Ro is a type of weave for kimono, is a very light and a perfect weight for summer that has a subtle stripe pattern in the weave and is very slightly sheer when held up to a light.
Measurements are approximate, taken flat and then doubled where necessary.
Sleeve to sleeve width: 50 inches Length from shoulder to hem: 58 inches Around body: 44 inches when measured as shown in diagram Sleeve length: 29 inches
